Sharing my actual placement experience for Tranzita Systems – Software Development Engineer (SDE) role. The selection process was somewhat different from what was mentioned in the initial drive information.

Selection Process — Actual Experience
Round 1 – Resume Shortlisting + Interview
134 students were shortlisted, including me.
It was a direct interview on campus.
Questions were mainly based on:
- Resume
- Projects
- Technical concepts
- Programming knowledge
Round 2 – Company Office | ~8 Hours
33 candidates were shortlisted, including me.
The round was conducted at the company's Lucknow office and lasted around 8 hours.
It consisted of:
1. Technical Interview
Individual interview with the company.
2. SQL Assessment
10 SQL questions were given online.
3. DSA Assessment
5 DSA questions were given online.
4. Explanation of Solutions
After completing both assessments, we had to explain every question to the interviewers:
- Approach
- Logic
- Why we used that approach
- How the solution works
Final Result
Out of 33 candidates, only 2 candidates were selected for the SDE role at Tranzita Systems.
Unfortunately, I was not selected.
My Takeaway
This process taught me that solving a coding problem is only one part of the evaluation.
You must also be able to clearly explain your approach, logic, and decision-making.
For Tranzita specifically, I would recommend preparing:
SQL + DSA + Resume/Projects + Core Technical Concepts + Solution Explanation
The official JD also emphasizes programming exposure, technical problem-solving, self-learning, and communication skills.
