Pothole avoidance is on their “coming soon” list in the last few software update notes. It can’t come soon enough!

I concur. Only once you get used to FSD do you realize how the thousands of micro decisions and constant attention demands of driving actually do add friction. Arriving at a destination using FSD completely fresh mentally is really quite something. The longer the drive, the greater the difference.

I wanted to install it, but the instructions were just a bunch of pictures.

Seems like artificial and maybe bitter gatekeeping

I agree they are separate. What annoys me is that every time FairPhone has news, there are obligatory FUD comments about how people should stay away from FairPhone because they don't support Graphene.

whoa very nice! If possible, keep us updated. Feel free to contribute your unity skills to my repo as well.

Social media, prediction markets, politicians, stock markets are all clearly selling on hopes and fears.

When you can't easily quantify and point to the benefits, that's the default and it works.

Not to say the industries mentioned don't have legitimate purposes, but yes it's pretty obvious a large part of the AI industry has joined its peers in selling fear, though they would never admit that.

It's two totally different matters.

I won't be first, second or third in the AI race. I'm not even participating in that race. I don't care who wins. However my private data are mine and I do care about them.

It's Google and those other companies that may not care about my privacy, because the AI race is more important to them.

If AI is going to cost too much, I will use a cheaper one (Ferrari or FIAT?) or if every AI will cost too much, no AI all and there will be billions of people like me.

You're definately not hiding something if all your traffic goes out to a single IP address and a single pair of source and destination ports.

Very good point! the graphify the tool and using graphify AS A tool have definitely beed mixed up! I'll fix this up. Thanks again and appreciate you looking into it!

This was the first thing I noticed as well. It was refreshing to read.

Maybe. This is probably the sort of thing the card issuer can't adjudicate, and needs an actual lawsuit.

> The long-tail of edge conditions to handle is really long, and Rivian is only at the beginning.

I still find it insane that the entire established automotive industry saw what Tesla was doing with cameras and incrementally working toward FSD, and still to this day has not even started to collect data (or even install enough instruments to collect the data!) to get onto the same trajectory. Meanwhile the Model Y is the best selling car in the world multiple years in a row.

> Will there be meatballs?

> Maybe.

Billipodes. Obviously.

Finland did the right thing with nuclear.

We have an election in Sweden tomorrow. The current government have started securing investments in clean energy (i.e nuclear energy).

Some opposition parties, including the "greens" (MP) are vehemently opposed to it.

>hmm let's see... important applications of math... i guess there's matrix multiplication and fourier transform. anything else? probably not.

t. low information voter.

It’s a great idea if you’re in reach of Russian drones

Not to be confused with <https://justine.lol/blinkenlights/>, of course.

Interesting project.

One small suggestion though: try to always make the first sentence show fully in the card. Several times I was a bit miffed I had to actually click to find out what a card was about, when it would have been better for me to get the gist in advance to know if it was something I wanted to read about.

Currently only Google Messages supports RCS indeed, so Messages is not a replacement yet.

Personally I don't need RCS so I simply use Textra since forever as it's far better than Messages, but lack of backup is impacting everyone much more - no other app can be used to back up the OS.

Or you can do simple calisthenics. Especially if you are beginner, save yourself time and money and do exercises like push ups and squats at home. When you progress on that go to outside gym which is also free and never crowded from my experience.

I'm on Twitter and Carmack doesn't seem to talk about it much. Feels like a skunkworks. If there were enough clues made public, it seems others (OpenAI) would be able to take that info and scoop the insight first.

[self-promotion] I got annoyed by this change, so I added a feature to my Safari extension (iOS and Mac) to automatically replace all of the /goto?url= links in Google search results with the destination URLS: https://underpassapp.com/news/2026/9/2.html

Negative. Last minute human testing error on my part. New and accurate fights are now up

Unless the next drought forces a shutdown of the power plant again

Definitely a gag.

Personal thoughts on the dark factory notion in SWE versus lights-on software factory.

Casting Leomund’s Secret Chest, now with TROFAST modular storage management system installed.

I don't get this commonplace logic. Why make the decision on the possible distant future? You can always just cancel when that happens.
